Hello there, I'm the host of this website, JongMan Koo (a.k.a. JM). This homepage is mostly a collection of my private thoughts and some computer related things I find useful or valuable. The topics should include algorithmic trading, information retrieval, high performance computing, highly concurrent programs, and machine learning - but I'll be posting whatever which looks brilliant to me. :-) Enjoy!

- Since July 2009, I am married to a wonderful lady.
- As of October 2009, I have moved permanently to Chicago, US to work as an algorithmic trader at DRW Trading Group.
- I am enthusiastic about programming contests; since 2002, I have attended 7 world finals of these events. I run a programming contest forum for Korean people, and wrote an online judging system for the site.
